The Legacy of Gordon Tullock
ABSTRACT
Gordon Tullock was one of the founders of the public choice school of economics, along with James Buchanan. Tullock’s revolutionary work on constitutions, bureaucracies, “rent-seeking,” and many other areas has helped to shape our understanding of the limits of democracy in protecting liberty and securing limited government. This conference explored some of the main themes from Tullock’s research.
